if any of you guys have an Etec outboard i just brought one of these. Saves using muffs which in a marina can prove difficult and trying to struggle jamming the hose in the port this connector helps alot. Recommended, fits my 75hp snuggly. Did need some gloves to tighten up though.

Couldnt find any others that were in the UK.

Hey Bill do you have to fit then screw the hose into it every time?
Doesnt look like a quick release clip-in hozelock type attachment?

When I had my Etec I only flushed it once a year so did it in a tank at the same time as running the auto winterisation, but if you have the facilities to get fresh water to the engine, a flush port is a much more convenient way to go.

Hi ken. Yes i leave the connector attached to the port always then screw the hose in, its universal so your not tied down to hoselock fittings, its good for the marina im in as we share hoses.
