Finished work and was ready for an evening of films and crap food. I get a phone call saying let's go fishing so I got my ass into gear. Headed out to the mark and waited for 30 mins as the rain would stop so we could get suited up.


Wondered down to the mark and it was rough!! Waves nearly hitting us and our gear but we stuck it out. 2nd cast produced this beauty Huss of 9lb 5oz. This put us in a good mood. Next came this Huss of 7lb 5oz. I was on a role! At this point my mate was yet to have a bite. After a few missed bites and a stonker of a fish biting through the trace and one jamming me up solid we thought it was time to make a move.

Was a cracking session and nice to see some spectacular looking Huss.

Cheers mate. Yeah fishings been hard. Done a lot the last month but haven't had much worth posting. I always think the last minute sessions are the best. Was dead for work this morning thou.

Can always count on Huss to give you a good session.

The roughest kelpiest ground possible mate. Went out tonight was really windy but had another Huss and lost a few aswell.

Had a couple of flounder the other week,a few small joeys on the float and i had a small bullhuss off the rocks only about 5lb had a few other bits n pieces but nothing to get excited about,ive not really been out much standing in the wind and rain when the fishings poor dont really appeal to me these days,i will give you a shout when things pick up,maybe try for an eel???

Awww nice mate. Yeah we have fished some terrible conditions!! Sounds good mate. We have had a few eels this year already. Christened my new rods with a pd eel of 15lb from meva.
