We fished out of Exmouth on the 15th Aug. It was cr*p. Wrecks produced 4 - 5 bass, 1 small pollack, 3 pouting between 10 of us.
Anchoring on a reef was a bit better with a couple of congers, biggest nudging 50lbs, and a large wrasse.

Blown off on the Saturday. Sunday morning drifting rough ground produced 3 or 4 more bass.

Couldn't even catch many mackeral!


Is it always that bad or was it the weather / time of year / tides etc?
