Went to eyemouth today up at 4am.The conditions were poor so we fished a safer mark on the golf course side. The two of us managed to winkle out 7 codling although they were only around 2lb each. When we first saw the sea we honestly thought there would be no chance of a fish.We stuck it out and caught our fish mainly over low water on peeler crab baits.I think when we get a spell of good weather there will be a better stamp of fish caught. If anyone is going to eyemouth soon be aware their is loads of colour in the water around the harbour marks at the moment.May have a trip up to Crail to fish the rocks, anybody tried their yet?
