Did a quick session on the wall this afternoon. Took my pal Mike who has never caught a fish...ended up with 2 flounder each. He was well chuffed and it seems he has the bug!
All fish came on frozen black....not a touch on clam!

well done Dave and Mike ,hope you weren,t still using them 3/0 hooks? when its calmer at Fairhaven and things are a little slow it can pay to use some type of attractor near your hooks and also use a small lead to give the bait some movement ,however sometimes there just not there .

Guy to the left of us was casting OTG about 80yds.....needless to say he blanked!

So all that casting practice was to get me as far as 20 yds.... You don't understand the artform of blanking yet...... a GREAT blanker can do it at any distance!!

Good to be back... am just catching up on all the posts and itching to get out there again soon.

Some great posts and piccies over the last 2 weeks.... keep it up one and all!
Yep, thoroughly enjoyed myself and 2 fish to boot. :1a:

Gonna get me my own fishin' stick now. :D

I've not tried fairhaven yet, what sort of rig is favoured, also, does anyone fish lytham by seafield road?
Just out of interest, does anyone fish near Seafield Road in Lytham? Just wondering what it's like there.

not fished there for ages used to fish to the right behind the buildings, and last time i did found it to be a little snaggy{tackle graveyard} have had flatties there and saw a young lad a few year back land a 7lb bass from there ,

did fish from the wooden jetty also and had some nice flounder of it but they dont like you doing that

Wouldn't get me on that jetty anyhow, the thing's cursed and half of it previously drifted off and ended up near lytham creak:)
