Fished opposite Mannings archade over high water. Caught a Ray of around 5lb and lost another. The bloke next me had one and lost one, plus a Doggie and several Whiting.

Gutted it wouldn't swim off despite only being lip hooked. Must have tried for over an hour to get it going but in the end took it home. Does anybody else have experience with this? It was alive but just wouldn't go
