Grabbed a pack of frozen lug my mate had left over from the weekend and headed out for a few hours, as I'm on call from work and needed to be able to get away quick so parked up and fished the tugs. Opted for a boom rig 20 yards out trying for a flattie and a 3 hook flapper at range for anything else. Very slow to start but then as the flood started I started to get bites, fished from half 7 till half 10 and ended up with 8 little whiting, wasn't expecting much more to be honest but just enjoyed being out and chatting to a few people who came over for a chat. Weed at range which gave some solid bites a few times as the tide pulled it through.
