A nicely tied box of flies.

Just before we went in to lockdown I was doing well with a black nomad with an orange nose and it has become a favourite outfishing chartreuse by some way.

Tied a few Still water flies up ready for when we can go fishing! View attachment 1258959
I'm new to fly fishing but been sea fishing and trout fishing for 16 years, what advice in terms of method of fishing, dependent on the weather would you advise for still waters for rainbow trout and type of fly's?. Tomorrow i'm fishing Spring hill fishery, its a still water and the temp is really high, would you fish top or bottom or both, and at what times?. I've heard that weather dictates the method, so floating line with dry fly's or sinking?. and when i say times i mean like do they feed at different times etc etc as later in the day the temp drops etc etc, it's all new to me, thanks.
