Hi everyone! I posted a while back about my trip to Selsey and have been waiting for ze picture! My first Smoothhound! Am very happy :) Only been fishing since July this year so am well chuffed!

Any estimations on weight would be very much appriciated as I dont have any scales but would be interested to see what you reckon! Im a good few inches over 6ft... :secret:

i would say you weigh about 13-1/2stone......:punk::punk::punk:


as for the hound iwould say about 7-1/2 to 8lb...

Well done mate!! hopefully the first of many, may have to wait till next year for some more, although I just got a feeling I might be out the tides 4th Sept to 7th.

Always reckon it is best to get a good firm grip on the stub of the tail in case they start kicking and take a fall out of your hands onto the beach and support them under the pectorial fins rather than the stomach so not as much pressure on the internal organs, makes for a much better picture as well

No worries it`s a pair of bass rods that I looking for Eddie to do, I still have 3 zippy f zeros, 2 century kompressors, 2 century super matches, 2 penn ppt jet streams, a diawa tdxs 129pm and a pair of normark bass rods to choose from................................help I need help I am obsessed!!!

What a tackle tart all those rods but no Bass to put on them, better start again and go to Lidls, anyway Rob have you forgot what forums you should be posting on this is for South Coast Sea Fishing not landlocked Puddle chuckers (sorry Puddles)
