[Crocodile]

Managed y firtbass of he year last night from a mark near Whitby. Estimated about 3lb the fish took at very close range. Heres a few pics frm an enjoyablesession at a new venue with friends.

great pics mate especialy the first one of the birds diving and you caught on a red head in over 30 years of lure fishing i never caught on one of them :clap3: but to be fair i havent owned one in nearly 20 years

The red head has turned out to be my number 1 lure. Only been bassing aout 3 years as plugging is relatively new around here, but I must of had 80% of my fish on a red head - either maria chase (Shore) or the yozuri from the kayak.

well done on your 1st bass
ive only been spinnin this season and not had a single take
those rock ledges and those birds feeding looks just the same as the
mark i fished this mornin but 200 miles further south
i was for jacking it in but seeing those pics just reminded me
how i love being that close to the water's edge
