Went boat fishing with the blue shark fishing trips in rhyl, on a boat called striker.
We went out monday morning at 4.50am to catch the tide andwent out about 3 miles towards the wind farm. so we put the feathers in above a wreck to catch some bait and as we moved on i baited up with come mackerel strips and lugworm cocktail. sure enough i feel a tug on my line strike and ive got myself a lovely tug gurnard weighing roughly 6lbs. Not bad for a first fish. made for a nice meal aswell

Well done mate that was also my first fish but mine was 1.5lb.
I never thought them to be edible
