Had my first lrf session on dun laoghaire pier today, I was using the hto Ul rod, grauvell micra reel, and 4lb sensor. The lures were the hart m-minnows and mister twister grubs. The day started slowly and the tide was low, however after about 40 mins I had my first fish a small gold sinney wrasse.

The day really kicked off from there as I found the fish, u had at least 12 gold sinneys,6 rock cooks and countless ballan wrasse. Even had a dragonet!

Well today has me well and truly hooked on lrf I had a great time while also getting the first 9 species on my species hunt.

Yeh the scrap that even a tiny fish gives is unbelievable, I'm heading back out on Saturday and will try and target a few more goby and blennie species. It's addictive I fished for 8 hours today and never wanted to come home!!

Its good for the soul is Lrf and highly addictive and a right hoot to boot.
Give a fish a chance and it will fight back, puts the enjoyment back in fishing.
Well done on your first session, it only gets better.:clap3::fish::clap3:
