Congratulations on a great first catch. I remember the first fish i caught when my dad first took me to the pier was a weever fish. I was only a bairn and was terrified of the thing as i had been told that they were poisonous. I wish i could go and catch numbers of bass every session, it toook me over 18 months to suss out the tide, time and marks and to begin catching them on a regular basis. So a BIG well done mate!

well done dude, i was meant to fish rhossili bay last year but never made it there, fished mumbles pier instead ! my mum was born in Llangeneth, so i've been there a hundred times over the years, but never fished it ! it's certainly on the 'must do' list this year !
