Hi there. If you are worried that someone might be afraid to publish their secret Clyde mark on an open forum, you need not worry. I don't think there are any that are really special right now..
I have been fishing the reefs off Ardrossan recently (today also) and I would have to say that I have had some good sport with big mackies, codling, small ling and other species on every trip. Today the gulls were going crazy feeding on small fish that were boiling on the surface.
During the time that I kept the boat in the Holy Loch (2005-2009) I seldom got any bites never mind fish in the Firth. I had a few marks that produced the odd decent pollack, but it was hard work.
Now I am catching fish supper size codling on every trip, so maybe things are looking up at last.

I wasn't trying to be secretive, I thought it would be easier to use private mail, instead of me just clogging up this thread with my own stupid posts. :laugh:
