Hi please be gentle newbie to electronics I've got a garmin 551s at the moment easy to use and does the job . I'm looking a fitting a stand alone fish finder the one catching my eye is the lowerance elite 5x hdi or the 7 x hdi my questions is what is the difference between the two types of transducer that are available May seem a stupid question newbie question lol . I've got the Lowrance 7x HDi, it came complete with 83/200khz and downscan 455/800khz transducer from Redcar Fish Company. £450 inc VAT.

They're combined in one unit
