steven , go by the first entrance to cairndow ,stay on the main road till you start to go downhill, the road levels beside the loch there is a small lay bye beside a celtic cross ,park there and go down between the trees and fish there, I usually fish 2hrs before low and 2 after ,spinning should get you mackerel that you can use for bait , a legered bit of mackerel will pick you up doggies and maybe a thornie , ps low tide is about 330pm ,
thanx tam

where is this road? "Road End Junction"????

is it near here?

steven i,m being presumtious in thinking that your coming from arrochar ,over the rest and be thankful ,stay on the a83 till you see a sign saying stage coach inn cairndow ,go by that the next sign will be the slip road down into cairndow GO by that till you start to go downhill when you see the loch on the left hand side slow down ,the lay bye is on the left hand side with the turn into cairndow ,if you see the cross your there , if your coming from inveraray stay on the a83 heading for arrochar when you cross the bridge at the river fyne travel about a mile ,the cross and lay bye are on the right of you , you cant really miss it either way its quite a big monument.
yes il be coming from arrochar

thanx for the information tam il be takin pics of my catch and i wil upload them here to show yous
went to cairndow

fished just from the celtic cross mate i got there at half 10 just as the tide started going out
