I'll be arriving in Belfast on the ferry from the Ilse of Man in a week or so for ten days fo motorhoming around Ireland. We've got the idea of heading south towards Cork then back eastward and north back to Belfast again. I'm going to sneak a light spinning rod in the van so I would be very appreciative of a couple of spots to try a bit. In reality, 'er indoors will be getting a bit cross if I do more than a couple of hours on a couple of afternoons. Any ideas for maximising my chances would be great. I've read on these hallowed forums that Killybegs is a good spot, any comments?
Thanks in advance :clap3:

Thanks for that, I'll have a look in a minute. The missus gave me the go-ahead today - happy days!

Head towards East Cork and especially the Copper Coast in Waterford - good numbers of fish being taken on lures there at the moment. If you can, get in contact with Cortaz on the Irish Sea Angling forum - he will set you straight
