I'm going down to Dartmouth on Friday with my boat. Anyone have any good marks a few miles out of Dartmouth ? I know about the Skerries but any inshore wrecks at all that are worth looking at ?

There are about 20 or so wrecks within about 2-3 miles of the mouth of the dart, not sure what they fish like but there all around the Skerries area, good time or year now for the Plaice on the banks so I would have a go for them.
To get the location for the wrecks pick up a dive book called DIVE SOUTH DEVON by Kendall Mcdonald.
Why not give me your direct e-mail address and I can scan the document and post it to you.

Regards

I went out from Dartmouth over the weekend - about 3 to 4 miles out. The mackerel are in as we caught a few for bait and several for eating. They were all on the smallish side though.

We also caught several decent size codling and a few pollock. Tried for plaice on the Skerries for an hour or so as well but without luck
