I am terrible at setting up float rigs and being an amateur have only realised you can buy the float and rigs already set up - can anyone recommend any I can use for the next few weeks from a pier or off rocks? Thanks:bounce:

If its already set up it will be no good as the float needs to slide on your line so you can change depth if already set how would you adjust it for different depth of water set correctly you could float fish at any depth of water from 1ft to 100,s of feet if you wanted to

are you sure its not just a set that has everything you need (including correct weight) for float fishing.

Just learn to tie a 4 turn grinner knot and you're all set, plenty of info on here and elswhere on the net to show you how it's done and how to set up the rig
