well we have a imax and a sundridge , the imax is a lot heavier and warmer tho and feels a bit more confidence building.
on both sets the knees seem a little unprotected if that makes sense, but very happy with both and have kept us warm all winter long on trips round the uk
but best bet is to go and try them on and see what you like the feel of

tight lines and hope you find the one you really like

i have two fladens, (well, smoothy has one !), a 2pc and a 1pc, both are great suits, the 2pc is more versatile come the spring and summer nights though,

My 2 piece viking has stopped being waterproof after 6-7 boat trips last year. I now have Fladen 2 pieace which seems to have better quality. Only use it twice so far so still to early to tell but it kept me warm enough during the two boat uptiding trips this year.

I've done a review of the Imax suit on the user reviews section, I don't have it anymore and I am awaiting delivery of a sundridge crossflow.

The build quality of the Imax is crap the braces tore out of their holding and the knee patches got all cut up and were lifiting, I wouldn't touch one with a bargepole.

well the Imax people must have had a bad day when they made your one, the one we hve is spot on, it might be heavier than some, but thats not a major issue for me
each to there own as the saying goes, the main thing is get the one that you like the best for what ever reason

I`ve had an Imax 2 piece suit since they came out and can`t fault it.
I use the bib & brace all time on my boat and its great.
Never had a problem with any parts of it, i guess you can get a dud of anything you buy at times.

So that's three of us on this thread that had a dud then?

i would never buy another imax even if i was sponcerd to wear one
same here, the imax is total pooh

Maybe if the other guys expanded on their comments you could get a better impression of why they think that they're not very good?
A lot of guys on SAI which is another forum I use have complaints about them too, maybe it's just because so many of them were sold that we're seeing a higher proportion of duds, wasn't happy with mine anyway.

Ok cheers guys, it seems to be a case of trial and error(but not the imax), what's good for 1 is a pile of cr** to the next guy. Thanks for the info:clap3: :notworthy
