After having a bad sesh down the foreshore Friday i decided to go again but to a different spot this time. Got set up about 7.15pm with 2/0 pulley pennel and rag tipped with squid, and had a bite almost straight away and it looked like a good size fish but as luck would have it i got snagged and lost him. So not to be disheartened i baited up and cast out again, 10 minutes later tip started to quiver and knock a bit so i left it for a couple of mins then the rod banged again so i reeled in and had my 1st codling of the night. After my 1st they came in at regular intervals with my tally being 6 codling with 1 keeper. Further up from me a couple of fellas (with WSF stickers on the box) were bringing in what seemed like fish after fish and when his headlight shone on the 1 it must've been a 3 pounder at least, so well done whoever you were.
I know where i was fishing is a bit controversial at the mo but they just aint biting down by the monkey pole/boulders so what are you supposed to do?
Anyway all in all it was a good night and i enjoyed myself and that's what counts, plus I've gotta nice fish for tea.
Tight lines all. Dobster.
P.S Thanks for the great day Saturday Tom.

Yeah Tom, they was that big i had to chop some of em into 3 pieces. Wish i'd had some lug though as they seem to be doing better.
