hi all was down fremington quey fishing boxing day got down there for the incomeing nite tide and what a nite it turned out to be. had a 4lb 1oz bass , 3lb 9oz bass , 2lb 12oz bass , 7 bass between 1lb 4oz and 2lb , 9 schooly bass (only kept the 3 biggest just incase you r wondering, i belive in only keeping enough to eat and preserveing the fish stocks for the years to come) and had 2 very small flounders. by 1am was sick of catching the bass as i had gone there for the flounders so moved over to bideford quey for the last hour of the dropping tide first cast saw me with a nice 2lb 3oz flounder followed by 3 small ones upto about a 1lb (kept the big one the others went back) the last two weeks have been very produtive now out to get the cod hopefully at the weekend, tight lines all.

its an amazing place when u hit it right and for a change that wind wasent blowing up the river in your face, it was perfect down there no wind no rain noone else about. but i most admit i find it better in the river with frashly dug ragworm seems to work better than the tackle shop 2 or 3 day old rag. its it one place on the river i have never blanked and it just seems to get better and better each year

i have been saying all along fremington fishes well on its day, well done mate when foxy reads this he will be eating his hat lol
Still too much turkey here for that but don't get me wrong, I'm chuffed to bits to read this - it's another mark worth fishing close to home, after all!
It was just that my own experience there has been bad and, until I asked on here, nobody I spoke to seemed to have anything good to say about it.

But well done NDA ... and thanks for letting us know about it!
