the third consecutive day out on a boat!!!
left milford at about 8.30... met great escape for 5min then headed strait out to the islands.... where fist drift had a 3.2 lb ballan.... kept drifting.... kept catchin wrass with the ocasional pollack..
headed off to a deeper mark, where we started to catch a load of pollack but no size to them ...
anchored up on the knoll then, fishing wa slow with a few dabs, and a plaice of about 1.5lb.. after the rip of the tide stopped, headed back over to st annes head for some fun on the pollack, where the other two on the boat were hitting them all the time, best of 5.8lb!!! but not me!!!! however... i was catching coalfish to about 3lb!!!
after losing countless hooks we decided to move in to meet up with great escape at pennar point for a few wray....
but the wray wernt there!!!! had a codling in the channell to about two pound... scrappy little fish... went strait back, and then in the endge managed a bass of 3.1lb on peeler crab which great escape kindley donated before he headed home!!!
ul be happy to know dean it went back for you to catch anotha day!!!!!
total for the day... 28pollack, 22wrass, 6dab, 1plaice, 1codling, 1bass

i sailed from cardiff to fishguard, it took from 7am friday till 8pm saturday, NO WIND!!
as i had never been round the islands before i thoght it looked rearly fishy and wanted to give it a fish but my mate who's boat it was said we had to push on, it was a bit dodgey going into milford at 1am though, so many boys and cardinal boys and massive tankers floating round!

good god. wot was u doing. ROWING?:g:
we had to motor most of the way, and then the engine started ****ing oil everywhere, and we were just 500 yards off ramsey, so we had to do a PAN PAN, cus we were going to wards the rocks, but luckily the wind picked up and we sailed most of the rest of the way! we fixed the engine as well, and didnt need the life guard, but fairplay to them they called up every hour to check on our progres and make sure we were there, then when we got to fishguard 2 of them were there and did some checks with us, and they said theyed been watching us from the headland.
TOP BOYS!!!
cracking session again there mate cant wait until my dads boat gets back into the water.
