Simple answer, no, apart from the tanks that come fitted with a sight gauge. There are tank senders that could be modified for use but the problem would be cutting a hole in the tank and being able to seal it in the portable tank.
A way round the problem would be to use a fuel flow sensor in the fuel line, this would tell you how much fuel is used as well as fuel remaining, economy, and range remaining at a particular engine speed. Navman do one for about £75 which interfaces with their Plotter, 5500 or 5600.
