I bought a boat which had a Garmin GPSMAP 210 chartplotter on it. Although the set works it needs a Navionics G-Map cartridge (Bristol Channel area) to be of much use. The local chandlers no longer stocks these so I contacted Garmin who informed me that they no longer make or supply them.

Does anyone know where I could get one, or have a second hand one for sale ?

Be careful on getting the copies for Garmin, i have the 162 model & the cd but the GPS Unit is also locked & you require an activation code so that you can actually download the maps to your GPS.

You can however view all the charts & print the maps off.

Thanks for the advice.

I was actually after the pre-programed memory card that fits into the machine (similar to a digital camera memory stick) although as I'm having no luck in obtaining one, is there a method of getting a CD and putting it on the memory card ?
