Steve, The Cuffmeister and me fished Gimblet rock last night.

We tried rag, lug, mackerel, squid, sandeel and various cocktails.

We tried big baits, medium sized baits and small baits.

We tried close in, far out and all distances in between.

Result?

5 little snotty silver eels and maybe another five missed bites between the three of us, in nearly five hours fishing .

Rough seas, weed, serious rain heading down off the mountains - it's the bloody same here mate! 2008 has been the summer when the weather let us down big style!

unlucky lads but lease you never blank.shaggy
That's where the scratching comes in handy, that's 51 sessions since my last blank and 92 for Steve. We're planning a bass session soon though so it could all come to an abrupt end .
