My first session of the year joined by Phil with lines in the water by 12.30 lunchtime. Mix of baits using a 3 hook flapper and a bigger bait pulley pennel. First fish was a sizeable Whiting taking sand eel at 1pm, nothing then until after dark when a Dogfish and small Pouting took squid on the flapper. Nothing on the pulley rig. High water was just after 17.30. No clouds today and an outstanding sunset (we don't get those up the valleys) . Packed up just after 7pm. Good to see plenty of people giving it a go on such a sunny day.
We all know what they look like but just some photos to share.
