hi speedy, 3x marks i will recommened to ypu.....1= ferrybridge. but pay for parking...2= opposite the oil tanks(nearer to portland), park in the layby on the first roundabout.free.....3=abbotsbury. all have been fishing ok recently

shame i didnt see your planned trip before as i also live in oxon (carterton)have fished chesil on and off for last 20 plus years and wouldnt mind getting together with like minded people to lower cost of travel for sea fishing.hope you had success as i was down there 2 weeks ago tent pitched for 3 day stint mack dog and pout showing but not a lot else best fishing was through late evening, night and first light.
day time hard work for very little return.
