Open coast shore fishing through December was practically non existent for me due to the conditions.

Looking at getting the boat out on the Fal at the weekend.

Got out again yesterday in the glorious South Devon sunshine
fished a rock mark 3 hrs up 2 down not a sniff
may have to travel to easy Dorset next week for my January Bass😂🤣
Was indeed a real tonic to be out in the sun yesterday!👍
Haha... All the best with a trip this way next week , as right now, it's not so easy 'easy Dorset' here! 🎣
Out on boat yesterday morning 'running in' new engine... few casts over a reliable reef, not even a pollack!....blanked!
Wading to 'fish holding channels' over LW last night.... lovely conditions, but....blanked!

Happy new year to your good self Mark and family.
Still at the stupid o clock nonsense myself mate and will continue to do so throughout the lull. Fortunately, our Little Rock enjoys the balmy night time air temp at present of 4d accompanied by 9.9d sea temps. All splendid stuff…wrap up warm, settling in right amongst them!

Hardest month imho......

Open Coast, harder still, but there must be few still about inshore....
Had them on lures on Chesil in Jan.....

Never Feb,,, everything just seems devoid of bait, and bass in Feb.....
Hard hard month,,,

Respect to All of you that's had feb lure caught Bass.....

With the forecast showing it to go W/SW on Sunday, it's looking like a Manacles trip for us now. Good luck tomorrow if you go (y)

I've Never fished the stones, so same as you cfish... 3 of us fishing today, Manacles-Blackhead, only 2 bass caught, approx weight 3 & 4lbs. Alot of pollock, my son had the best one, guessing between 13lbs & 14lbs.
