Caught a 1.5Lb golden mullet last night along with 3 bass off th beach
dont know much about the mullet .
Can you eat them:g:
How big do they Get?
Had it on small lug.

hi wing nut i have eaten a grey mullet cant see y you at eat those dude as to size of the golden greys goes much more than the size of that one mate still a nice fish as to baits i use maddies top bait tight lines

GG's are supposed to be better eating than bass mate, i can't verify that myself though as i return almost all my fish. so yes you can eat them. i think the british record is around the 3 lb mark, i had one last year of 2 lb 9 oz but anything around the 2 lb mark would be a cracking fish. usually caught on mudworm or small strips of mackie but as you know they will take small lug baits.
