Hi,should be plenty of whiting and codling around in Oct. All of the local beaches will produce or the pier at Gorleston and the river mouth.

We'll be going over there on the 5th/6th Oct to fish that area ourselves if you're free on the Mon/Tues.

hi hammer, Gorlesten and Yarmouth should throw up a few nice Codling and Whiting. I'd fish the right side of Gorleston wreck, which rests on the sea bed around 200 yards out to sea opposite the carpark on Marine parade or walk further up towards Hopton. Yarmouth North has some excellent fishing if you can put up with the weed and strong tide pull, opposite Seashore holiday park is as good as any at the North end of Yarmouth. Hope this helps a bit.
