I've been told that certain parts of the Mumbles coast is good for bass, anyone know a good mark that hasn't been too overfished recently?

Tell me about it, late summer last year, my mate almost lost his 12' beach rod on the end of the pier. This 3 3/4 pound bass came from nowhere, the butt of his rod flipped up in the air.

Gonna try Swansea West Pier on Wednesday night HW, hopefully will get something, have blanked the last few times.

I will be down there during the day, I will be easily recognised, as I have loads of hair, and, I will be with someone who is not slim! Just going down ther for some float fishing fun, taking live and frozen sandeel and some mackerel!
