Hi guys, a late report im afraid but here go,s....
I decided to fish that mark called knab rock last night. Arrived there for 16.00pm and set up stall in front of that famous mumbles mark
2 rods for the session both with 2 hook flappers with booms. And 2 ounce plain leads. My bait was maddies! So baited up and sent them out. And almost instantly my first first fish was landed. A small pout of 3"
So he was returned, that was quickly followed by a nice little codling.
A good start, then a flounder came up the wall...
The following hour was quiet with the bites having dried up ... then as dusk was setting in the rod tip was going and pout number 2 was landed.
Then another codling
Then as darkness fell. Another codling and a pout arrived. Then i had the bite of the bite... could it be a decent codling?? NO it was the mumbles marlin!!
So she was returned, i was having a good session to be fair, but did nitice that it was very quiet around me.. i did chat with the guy next to me and bless he hadnt had a touch. Then as i was packing a rod away, the other 1 was bouncing and a codling was landed.
I when packed away, ended up with 5 codling 3 pouting and flounder and a doggie. A lovely evening to be out and thougherly enjoyed.. until next time guys.
