Last minute decision as our charter was cancelled due to the high winds. We still had our worms to drown, so we decided to stay local choosing
Gorleston Beach. Starting at about 0945 hours and fishing just south of the wreck we started fishing with 2/3 hook flappers and
pulley rigs using a combination of squid, blow lug, frozen black and crab. It was a rough old day and my mug has been pretty much sand
blasted red raw. However, the fishing was enjoyable and worth it. Between the 3 of us we had 16 codlings and several whiting. Only two of
the codling would have been take home size, but only just, so they all went back. We finished about 1730 hours as light faded and the sun sank behind the cliffs.:fish:
