Took the chance of using up a few lug and peeler but almost a waste of time. Lug was stripped in 5 mins but at least the peeler stayed on for at least half hour. Had a small 4" flounder and a small schoolie about 7" on the peeler at long range in the first hour then nothing until a good solid pull down just on high water. Result was bait was mullered but no fish to show for it. packed up about 1830. was a bit breezy and a bit of rain but a pleasant 4 hours.

Another 3 or 4 weeks and we should see some whiting downstream at Tilbury Fort......

me and my mate also fished grays yesterday morning, 5 ells, 2 flounders and a 35 cm schoolie, in 5 hours, big tide didn t help much....

Nice 1 Andy, as Miz states another set of spring of spring tides should push them Whiting right up to Grays, ideal live bait for the lingering Bass!
