:laugh:im down at southerness for my weeks holiday so decided to go fishing to the flat rock on wednesday so went out tuesday dug lug and collected some pellers got up wednesday morning it was wild strong winds and pouring down i thought it might clear up ,it just got worse so me and my mate decided we will leave it to thursday so that was what we done left the caravan about 12.00 got to the flat rock about 13.00 just in time to fish the tide in i set up 2 rods boydie had the one rod ,1st cast a doggie 2nd cast another dog we continued doing this all day i also had 1 plaice and 2 codling about a pound but the fish of the session was for me it was a 8lb starry what a fight this gave me i thought it was a double bass i was really surprised to catch this on lug and what makes it better it was my first one we must have had about 30 doggies over the day and a few missed best days fishing for a long time

usually doggies for me there, well done on the cod too!

Great sesh Dan and thats a cracking smoothie. They go like stink do they not.
