Decided on a wee session down the Custom House Quay in Greenock tonight, started fishing at 8pm, flat calm and the tide was well out but there is always a bit of depth there.

Fished for 2 hours, baits used were herring and prawns.

Total for 2 hours fishing was 4 pollock, i have attached a pic of the biggest one, the rest were slightly smaller, i have put the national gauge of a *** packet to gauge the size, not sure of the weight though? Any guesses? All in all not too bad for Greenock :thumbs:

All fish returned to fight another day (as usual)

:thumbs:Well Done :thumbs::thumbs:Very good for Greenock , going down tonight . We usually catch doggies every time we go , the odd codling and other smaller species we have had small rockling flatties the one we dont seem to get are Coalies and pollock . anyway well done . :clap3:
