Fished Greenock Waterfront today, started off at the town hall, ended up just behind the swimming baths. More on that to come . Fished about 150 yards to the left of where the waverley was docked, then it decided to tie up straight in front of us during which the waverley ran over our lines and nearly took my rod into the water, only thing that saved it was the multiplier catching on the chains. Wasnt funny then, is hilarious now :D . Moved to the swimming baths and had 9 Pollock, a Saithe and 5 mackerel al on float fished mackerel strip. Had to laugh, there must've been about 15 people spinning either side of me and not one person caught a mackerel, I had a fish a cast. I could hear them saying "That boys got another one, ffs". Ma dad had about a dozen dabs and a sea scorpion.
Overall very enjoyable day, even though the biggest fish was a 1lb mackerel, plenty to keep us occupied.
