Have never heard of anyone sea fishing in the vicinity of Gretna, although one or two do fish the harbour at Annan which is very tidal. The species at Annan are flounder and mullet in summer. As to a tackle shop I would very much doubt it. Travel the few miles to Dumfries to "Reel em in " his new shop opens this week, and there will be at least 100 rods on display, with large sea angling section as well as the other disciplines, plus selection of frozen baits. The shop is in the bottom half of the Vennel. Bernard and Ian are very helpful and quite knowledgeable as to sea angling in the region.

He certainly had a shop in Dalbeattie a number of years ago, but not sure if it was K B sports or not. As well as McGowans which is still in the town, I'm sure that a gent named Shaw who held the Scottish shore caught cod record also had a shop in Dalbeattie.
After further thought Dale, It certainly could be K B sports as his wife is called Kitty, so it probably was Kitty. Bernard Sports.
