Only a 25.6ft tide and flat calm but the day before the sea had a slight edge on it so was hoping there might be a few flounders around ,wrong !!!.Fished two hours before high tide and didn,t have a touch .Fished close in and was stripped in 3 mins ,the close in gulley is full of crabs now.About 30mins after high tide started to get small rattling bites which resulted in a few small whiting two at a time for a while then a fat rockling then finally two really decent sized dogfish .Didn,t see a great deal else caught but noticed a lot of people packing up around high tide ,darkness makes a big difference at this time of year especially on these tiny tides ,so luckily ended up with a few fish but could have easily been a blank
