went out today headed bravas not much wind so was ideal skipper was e.t ewan plenty of bites all round this time better resons on last day then we had all week well over 20+ haddies some good ling in sizes the usal tubs and codling in numbers some good size spur one was caught which was easy double figure lsd's seemed a lot bigger than etive

looks like the last day was the bests some nice looking fish
pitty rest of the wk was so poor

Glad you got up to Barvas eventually. Everywhere else is very poor this year thanks to the night time activities of some badly behaved trawlers.

Yeah Bravas turned out to be the icing on the cake, after a hard weeks fishing the best was saved to the end, ET sure knows his stuff he worked real hard to put us on fish all day with some big haddock coming on board, and the fight off the Spurs was great one off the guys had one well into double figures, also some decent Cod brought in along with a real mix of species.

A really enjoyable week with 3 new species for myself Spotted Ray, Grey Gurnard and finally a HADDOCK (been after one for over 30 years)

ET took the club junior anglers up there yesterday. he described the fishing as "totally different". Hopeless, in fact!
But he took them inshore and found a mark infested with big female spurs and they all went home happy.
