Decided to fish Hamble Point as not been for a long time. Set up by 7.30pm 2 rods 1 running ledger other 1 up 1 down, Squid, lug & mussels as bait. Very quiet only 3 bites in all resulting in 2 micro pout just as the tide topped. Packed up 11.30. Little weed about, but not enough to cause any problem.

I fished down hamble next to the bp jetty and it was the same I had a bass of a 1lb and then it was all pout but they weren't bad size ones. Give it a few more weeks of decent weather and the hounds will be in.
