Got hold of a few peeler and thought i'd see if I could get a bass from around the old revetment at low water. Fished from 7.30am 'til 11.15. Sea looking cracking with a nice nor-easter pushing it up the beach.I caught but only codling. I finished with 6 to a pound and a half all returned. Fished another rod with lug but the peeler won five fish to one. Quite a bit of red weed at the start of the session but it eased about 9 o'clock and there was never enough for it to be a problem. Enjoyable session, I hope the fella fishing up near the ladder at Cart Gap had a bit more joy.
