Just wondering, in the summer will be giving hard backs a go for wrasse. How do you hook them?:g:

I read recently that pulling a leg off and putting the hook through the socket and out through the centre of the chest plate is a fairly good method, hope this helps :)

dont bother - just super glue the hook to the back of the shell :)

I read somewhere that one method was to use an elastic band.
Yep! I was going to suggest EB! :g:

I use EB or BE to stop the little buggers climbing into snag's.:uhuh:
The fish still find them easily and smash them to bit's in a second!:uhuh:

If you hav'nt read my post about this !!! search for it, and the link to Mike's main article on crabs on this website.......

Crabs move / swim sideways - so - put the hook in the "back" "side" of the crab - so it pulls it along . . . and - - YES - - it does make a difference . . . .
Use a grip wire , or simillar , to make a hole , save the point on your hook for catchin the fish !
