Fished a mark on the Thames today were Ravet and his crew fished earlier this week , passed the spot many times so it had to be done.
Loaded the car up at 11am and began the drive up to the Thames stopping of at Clearwater Tackle for some bits then on to the Thamesmead area for some nosh chicken and chips washed down with a bottle of tango.
Stomach all full and ten minutes later I was at my chosen spot the whole area to myself great.
First two hours not a bite only line bites from weed and I have never caught so many plastic bags in fact I think I had more bags than Asda and Sainsburys.
Rubbish was a pain in the butt today I think there was all the refuge from the borough of Thamesmead in the river.
With so much weed on my line I got snagged up and lost three sets of gear so not a happy bunny as they say.
Back to the fishing I had six flounder from tiny palm size up to 30cm nothing to get excited about but at least I caught .
Were to go Sunday mmmmmmmmmmmm.

As usual a pukka set of pics Steve and at least you caught a respectable haul of flounders. I'm having my first look for bass on Monday. Tides a bit small so it won't go out as far as I'd like but if you don't go you never know!

Good to see the 'Thames chefs' new 2014 menu. Talk about going the extra mile, he's even serving it up in boxes now (LOL).
Great report & photos Steve. Better keep it quiet about PB's Mark will not be happy with you!!!!

Nice one for getting a few although I feel the chef's standards are slightly slipping....
