Cracking reel to be given. On the handle side there is I think what looks like a small lever, try either pushing in and removing spool or pushing the lever either up or down to release. Whichever way pulling the spool off at the same time as moving the lever.
Why do you want to remove the spool just for loading line, wind it straight on whilst on the reel. Much easier.
When you take the spool off run a little grease on the spindle before putting the spool back on. Best to spool the backing on then the line while the spool is still on the reel. Check Utube and they will show you lots of tips for starting up again.
One thing that annoys me is people that ask for help and / advice but when given have not got the common courtesy to acknowledge your time in trying to help them.
