Hi folks,

on Monday and Tuesday I have to drop someone in Havant at 9am and pick him up at 3pm, so on one or both days I am planning to spend time on Hayling with some of my children, and do a little fishing.

The tide looks to be high around 11am and dropping for the afternoon, so not ideal ! Is there anywhere we can go on the Island with a half decent chance of scratching a flounder on top of the tide and the ebb - or a schooly, a whiting or indeed anything to interest the children ?

Many thanks,

Jeremy

Sorry, I like Hayling at LW.... but my I would have thought that you'd have a decent chance of something using worm baits from Eaststoke though. The tides are getting pretty big so there will be a bit of flow, no idea on the weed situation.

I fished the front estoke corner, tuesday for two hours in sunlight caught 4 whiting so should catch something mate. The good thing about hayling is that it doesnt realy matter what the tide is doing you can fish it any time. hope you and your children enjoy your days mate.... good luck and tight lines...
