Fished the ebb at Eastoke and the first two of the flood. One rod for bass and the other for flats. Biteless until dusk, and then the Whiting came. Then tried livebaiting with both.

More entertaining, but ultimately futile.

Still, fifteen leads from a metal detectorist for a fiver and a beautiful evening. It was good to have been out.

Unlucky on the bass front mate I fished hayling as well yesterday from 2pm to 4:15pm had one little bass and a small dab
