Sunday night, Fished 2 down 2 up over low water, sea was flat as a fart, used every bait combo I had. Got one Coalie about a lb in weight. Saved the blank and at least its 2023 off to a start. Still beats sat in the house watching Goggle box...........

Weve still been getting a few odd codlings in the flat waters. Mainly flounders this time of year. But.... very few bass lately.
Im sure i know the area your fishing and its been producing a few cod reently with a bit of a sea on. Actually better than on the rock.
Theres been quite a few coalies lately that are just under size
