Hi I'm new to this forum and fairly new to sea fishing. I have recently bought two beach casters and two fixed spool and am in the process of bulking out my tackle box!!! I fish a lot of the time of a local mark called Sker rocks in porthcawl but with not a lot of success ( doggies is about all I seem to catch at the moment) any help would be gratefully received - RICHYBOYO

Hi mate, welcome to the forum. The fishing is a little iffy at the moment but stick with it as there'll be plenty of rays, bass and flounders around in the summer. Take it much easier on yourself and fish Aberavon once in a while - it's a great venue, easy to fish and does throw up many good fish.
